Canned Mackerel
In extensive pre-launch consumer research, Lucky Star Jack Mackerel was very well accepted. Apart from the great taste, Jack Mackerel is also a high source of protein, a rich source of selenium and calcium, full of Omega-3 fatty acids, rich in iodine and, because of its tomato content, also full of lycopene.

Did u know?
Mackerel is a common name applied to a number of different species of fish, including, but not exclusively, Scomber japonicus and Trachurus picturatus murphyi. They occur in all tropical and temperate seas. Common features of mackerels are a slim, cylindrical shape (as opposed to the tunas which are deeper bodied) and numerous finlets on the dorsal and ventral sides behind the dorsal and anal fins. Mackerel is an oily fish (therefore an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids) and are an important recreational and commercial fishery.
